Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01, an all platform maintenance update to Maple Toolbox for MATLAB, is available to all users of Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.
Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01 provides support for MATLAB 7.7 (R2008b). It also includes a variety of enhancements to core functionality, including the sym, digits and procread commands.
Who is entitled to Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01?
Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01 is available to all users running Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.
To determine if you need this update, look in the Help>About Maple 12 dialog box in the Standard Interface. In the Toolbox Ids section, find the Build ID for Maple Toolbox for MATLAB. If the Build ID for that toolbox is less than 347750, you should obtain this update. If it is greater, you already have release 12.01 and no further action is required.
How do I get Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01?
In order to use the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01, you must first ensure that you have Maple 12.01 or later. Visit the Maple Update section for more information and to obtain the update.
Choosing the Update Method
If you are using Maple Toolbox for MATLAB with MATLAB 7.6 (R2008a) or earlier, you need to run the update installer.
If you want to use the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB with MATLAB 7.7 (R2008b), you have two choices:
- Download a full Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01 installer, and install this version into the MATLAB 7.7 (R2008b) folder. This is the best option if you cannot find your original Maple Toolbox for MATLAB installer, or if you’ve already activated the toolbox more than once. For downloading and installing the full version of the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01, visit the full product downloads center and follow the instructions for Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01.
- Install the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.00 into the MATLAB 7.7 (R2008b) folder, then run the update installer. After you have run the update installer, the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB will be compatible with MATLAB 7.7 (R2008b). This is the best choice if you have your original installer and have never activated this toolbox or only activated it a single time. For downloading and installing the update, follow the instructions in Using the Update Installer, below.
Using the Update Installer
Once you have Maple 12.01, you can then obtain update to this toolbox. From the Tools menu in Maple 12, select Check for Updates, and follow the instructions. Upon completion, you will have Maple Toolbox for MATLAB 12.01.
